The 6 th International Conference ECCE 2024 – ENVIRONMENTAL CHALLENGES IN CIVIL ENGINEERING, will be held on 22-24 April 2024 in Opole (Poland).

The conference is organized by the Opole Branch of the Polish Association of Civil Engineers and Technicians (PACET), the Opole District Chamber of Civil Engineers, the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture of the Opole University of Technology, and the Commission of Civil Engineering of the Katowice Branch of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

The thematic scope of the Conference covers the following issues:

• reconstruction and renovation of historic buildings, durability of buildings and structures

• innovative technologies for the construction and operation of buildings in industrial, hydro-technical, municipal, and transport infrastructure in the context of environmental protection

• materials engineering, building physics, construction issues, BIM, and organization and management of investments in sustainable construction

• architecture, urban planning, and spatial planning in the context of the idea of sustainable development
 

Abstracts of papers for preliminary evaluation by the Scientific Committee should be written in English according to the attached template, which can also be found on the website: https://ecce2024.po.edu.pl/.
The abstracts should be sent by 27 November 2023 to the e-mail: ecce2024@po.edu.pl. Accepted full-text papers will be published in the reviewed.

 

Conference monograph by Springer or Inżynieria i Budownictwo – the prestigious journal for the Polish construction industry engineers from PACET. Authors should choose one of these forms of publication when sending abstracts in the first stage of paper evaluation.
