Luminescence dating techniques rely on sample preparation performed by human operators. The measurement can be greatly influenced by how the sample is preparaed and placed within the laboratory equipment. The result of the measurement can be different depending by the different operators. The idea is to design a suitable automatic sample preparation facility that standardize the sample preparation. Furthermore the system can be optimized or the specific type of measurement based on luminescence.
