The event aims to be a moment of reflection on the physiological and anatomical behaviour of forest seeds that are important in urban forestry. It will also discuss the use of growth inhibitors as survival strategies based on behaviour during plant germination and understanding which mechanisms are lost or re-established during desiccation tolerance.
